Worst dinner hosts ever

Just a warning to the world--if you bring your children to our house, they might become Chase's prisoners.  A few weeks ago we had our neighbors over for dinner.  We lost track of their son and the puppies while we were talking.  When we finally tracked them down, we found this:

I'm not sure how this happens

Duff and I went out for a nice Friday night date night the other week.  We were only gone for about 2 hours.  When we came home, Riley was barking like crazy and we found this:

We have no idea how the puppy managed to kick his entire crate tray our from his crate.  Granted, it was not locked in properly.  But it would still have taken some serious finagling.

Your guess is as good as mine.

Riley says

Puppies are exhausting.

No explanation needed.

He's a leaper!

The new puppy has a habit of leaping for anything he wants.  He sees food on the counter--he leaps.  He sees Riley's food bowl two feet away--he leaps.  He wants to go outside--he leaps.  He wants to get up on the bed--he leaps over and over and over.

He never gets close to getting anything he wants because we're always in the way and he's just so small, but he tries so hard...

Size wise

To give you an idea of how tiny new puppies are, here is Chase and here is Duff's shoe.

That's right. They're the same size.
