This is the safest way to cool the cupcakes out of reach of dogs and toddlers.  Getting ready for JT's birthday party.  Our house smells so good!!! Can't wait to start frosting these bad boys tonight.  

(In case you're curious, these are blue velvet cupcakes which will have a buttercream frosting with sprinkles, a strawberry cupcake with fresh strawberry center and cheesecake frosting, and Milky Way cupcakes with a chocolate malt marshmallow centre and caramel buttercream frosting. Yum!)

Friday random

I'm going to ignore the incredible time gap since my last post and say that the lack of posts makes me feel something like this...

(If I was getting enough sleep to process any feelings, that is.)

Number Two

Good news--Number Two is looking healthy and on-schedule.  And very active, apparently (which I, obviously, already knew from the very strong, very frequent kicks I've been feeling).

Here is a sneak peak at the little monster:

We don't know the gender yet--we have it written down and Duff and I will open the envelope together soon.  So hang in there.  However, to appease the masses, I will share some other baby-related news:  Number Two will be entering the world on June 25 (unless, for some unknown reason, we need to reschedule or Number Two decides to make an appearance earlier).  But, in all likelihood, Number Two's birthday will be June 25, 2014.

Has anyone else seen the new BHLDN weddings line by Anthropologie?  OMG.  Gorgeous.

I wish I could get remarried and purchase every piece.  And you better believe I'll be wearing one of their dresses for all future weddings that I have to attend. 

 

Or not...They're kind of expensive.  But gorgeous.

Anyway, this post is kind of off-topic but that is because:
a) we haven't sold the house yet and being in limbo isn't very exciting, and
b) we have a doctor's appointment tomorrow so BIG NEWS IS COMING.
