Let me just gripe for a minute

I would just like to say that it is not fair to give someone an assignment at 3:30 in the afternoon to draft 7 identical documents (for different entities, of course), tell them you need it finished by the next morning and not tell them that each document is potentially 90 PAGES LONG!  Seriously!  If you ask someone if they have time to take an assignment and they say yes out of the kindness of their heart, you should warn them that it will take them 8 hours to complete and they'll be up half the night!  AND ITS TWO DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!!

Ok, rant done.

How does this happen?

 I told Duff that this means we have to have another wedding.

He wasn't buying it.

And no, we have no idea how this happened.  No finger trauma.  No accidents.  Duff just woke up one morning and noticed that his ring felt funny.  We're getting it fixed/replaced this week. I'll keep you updated on the outcome.

Leaves

Today, we spent our time surrounded by piles and piles of leaves.

The sad part is that only about half of the leaves have fallen. :(

The puppy loves leaf piles, though.  So it was an entertaining day.

All Hallows' Eve

Thought I would share our Halloween decorations. It may be a few weeks late but the kids really like them, so I thought you all might as well.

The spiders on the tree lit up.

We also had candles in the ghost lanterns by the door, the pumpkin in the garden bed and a light in the ghost in the window.

Of course, we really can't compete with the neighbors...

Let there be paint

We painted the house. It only took us a month (thanks to rainy weekends). I'm too tired to say much so the pictures will have to do the work.

As Riley has gotten older, she has developed a level of confidence in herself and comfort in our home. This confidence and comfort has led to her exhibiting complete freedom when sleeping. She just does it however she wants.
